- The Mentawai Fast ferry only runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: plan your arrival and departure dates around it.
- The camp is open every year from 15 March to 30 October.
- The transfer from Siberut to the camp is included; the return transfer to Siberut costs €50.
- Payments at the camp are in Indonesian rupiah, cash only. The last ATM is in Padang.
- Travel medical insurance is mandatory.
